This Australian non-profit has been helping women and children in Afghanistan and now are uniquely situated to utilize their orphanage and staff in Kabul to distribute aid to displaced or at-risk individuals immediately.
The Giving Back Fund, Inc.
The Giving Back Fund was chosen because it is powering the Afghan Innovation Foundation which is a group that is working on the ground in Afghanistan to identify women activists who have spoken out in the past 20 years and as such are being particularly targeted by the Taliban. They are on a mission to help these women and their families by providing transport, a temporary safe haven in Qatar and other countries, and finally helping them establish new lives abroad, and have already evacuated 2000 of these women in the middle of the airlift.
