About

A powerful and devastating magnitude earthquake (7.7 and 7.4) hit southern Turkey and northern Syria in the early morning hours of February 6, 2023. So far, the casualties are 8,000 dead, and more than 15,000 injured people with a continually rising death toll. The infrastructure across several Turkish provinces as well as northern Syria has been destroyed, bringing further instability to communities already in crisis. The people waiting for rescue are dying from hypothermia, hospitals are destroyed, injured people must be transported to neighboring city hospitals, and most roads are destroyed. Your donation to this Fund will help the following organizations provide on-the-ground needs assessments, rescue efforts, resource distribution, and medical intervention to those impacted.
