The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people.We are the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, text. We also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

The Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity
The Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity is an easy-access hub providing a safe, supportive space and services to LGBTQ+ adults and teens. The Center seeks to improve the well-being of all LGBTQ+ persons by providing a positive environment and a place to find help, as well as social and cultural programs and activities to enhance their quality of life. The Center seeks to strengthen the connection between the LGBTQ+ community and the entire Kern County area community through diversity education programs designed to foster a greater understanding of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression issues. We seek to empower LGBTQ+ persons to celebrate and be proud of whom they are and to live full rewarding lives as productive and contributing members of society.
Human Rights Campaign Foundation
The Human Rights Campaign Foundation improves the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people by working to increase understanding and encourage the adoption of LGBTQ-inclusive policies and practices.We build support for LGBTQ people among families and friends, co-workers and employers, pastors and parishioners, doctors and teachers, neighbors, and the public. Through the following programs and projects, we are enhancing the lived experiences of LGBTQ people and their families, as we change hearts and minds across America and around the globe.

Los Angeles LGBT Center
The Los Angeles LGBT Center is building a world where LGBT people thrive as healthy, equal and complete members of society.Since 1969 we have cared for, championed, and celebrated LGBT individuals and families in Los Angeles and beyond. Today the Center's nearly 800 employees provide services for more LGBT people than any other organization in the world, offering programs, services, and global advocacy that span four broad categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Education, Leadership and Advocacy.
National Center for Transgender Equality
The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people. In the nation’s capital and throughout the country, NCTE works to replace disrespect, discrimination, and violence with empathy, opportunity, and justice.

Ali Forney Center
The Mission of the Ali Forney Center is to help homeless Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth be safe and become independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood. Too many of these youth are rejected by their families and the broader community and are thus forced to survive on the streets, facing the dangers of violence, HIV infection and homophobia. The Ali Forney Center is committed to providing homeless LGBT&Q youth with the services they need to thrive, including shelter, HIV Prevention and life skills training.
Services & Advocacy For Gay Lesbian Bisexual & Transgender Elders Inc. (Sage)
SAGE leads in addressing issues related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning and other self-identifying members of the community (LGBTQ+) aging. In partnership with its constituents and allies, SAGE works to achieve a high quality of life for LGBTQ+ older people, supports and advocates for their rights, fosters a greater understanding of aging in all communities, and promotes positive images of LGBTQ+ life in later years.
Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network
At GLSEN, we want every student, in every school, to be valued and treated with respect, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. We believe that all students deserve a safe and inclusive school environment where they can learn and grow.We accomplish our goals by working in hallways across the country -- from Congress and the Department of Education to schools and district offices in your community -- to improve school climate and champion LGBT issues in K-12 education.Every day GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc.
Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving the full recognition of the civil rights of LGBTQ people, and all persons living with HIV through impact litigation, public education, and policy work. We successfully use strategic and collaborative advocacy to press for passage of laws that prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status and to defeat efforts to repeal or weaken such civil rights protections.
