826 Valencia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced students ages six to eighteen with their creative and expository writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.

La Cocina Inc

The mis­sion of La Cocina is to cul­ti­vate talented low-income food entre­pre­neurs asthey for­mal­ize and grow their busi­nesses by pro­vid­ing afford­ablecom­mer­cial kitchen space, industry-specific tech­ni­cal assis­tanceand access to mar­ket oppor­tu­ni­ties. We focus pri­mar­ily on womenfrom communities of color and immigrant communities. Our vision isthat entre­pre­neurs will become eco­nom­i­cally self-sufficient andcon­tribute to a vibrant econ­omy doing what they love to do.

Mission Graduates (MG) creates a community where all people have the same opportunities for education, regardless of their race. Our mission is about equity and social justice, ensuring that the community we serve, Latinx, Black, and immigrant families, can forge their path to success.

San Francisco Marin Food Bank

The SF-Marin Food Bank's mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin, where one in four neighbors is at risk of hunger. We envision a community where everyone is able to obtain enough nutritious food in a dignified manner to support the health and well-being of themselves and their families. We address hunger head on: from our pantry network and home-delivered groceries, to our nutrition-education classes and CalFresh (food-stamp) enrollment, we work in many ways to nourish and empower neighbors in need. San Francisco AIDS Foundation promotes health, wellness, and social justice for communities most impacted by HIV, through sexual health and substance use services, advocacy, and community partnerships.

Edgewood Center For Children And Families

Edgewood Center for Children and Families is a non-profit provider of behavioral health services to children, youth, and families that has served the San Francisco Bay Area for over 170 years. As the oldest children’s charity in the Western US, Edgewood helps individuals and their loved ones who struggle with mental illness and behavioral health issues by providing treatment, prevention programs, and crisis services. Our mission: to promote the behavioral health of children, youth, and families and support a positive transition to adulthood.

Compass Family Services helps homeless families and those at imminent risk to achieve housing stability, self-sufficiency, and emotional well-being.
